“Writing is the only way I have to explain my own life to myself.”

Thank you for checking my page!
It is year 2016, Happy New Year! For most of us, January is probably characterised by discipline and determination as we make every effort to stick to our New Year’s Resolutions from eating healthier, going to the gym, giving up chocolate... Quite ambitious right? I guess there is one in my list that I will truly enjoy. Yes, you got it right! I would love to write again as I did years back, while working in Singapore. I was not writing a novel, just a few lines about topics which interested me. When I was writing, I was always amazed how swiftly my vocabulary expanded. My communication skills improved; this helped me a lot as I switched jobs. |
My pieces of writing became a digital diary, a collection of day-to-day experiences, memories, travels and life events. An old album always worth revisiting: allowing me to appreciate what God has given and all the little perks that life has to offer.
In this BlogSpot, I am keeping a tab of 'Our Life'. Be it a prayer, a blessing, an escapade, things that made us laugh (or even cry), a special morning, words that stung, favourite time with family, most beautiful thing we have seen... Writing has no boundaries, and it does not have to be perfect. So go on, start writing but in the meantime, happy reading! "Writing is easy. All you have to do is cross out the wrong words." - Mark Twain |
